We're opening up community creation to more users at scored.co/create on desktop.
Established accounts are now able to create communities, effectively opening the option to all users.
To me, anything not federated is just just background noise. Any centralized service can be wrecked by a limited amount of effort applied correctly.
meh I think centralized projects can be ok, as long as there are a few of them then you can just leave one and go to the other if needed - still worth having a discussion on how to back up data in the event of a centralized site's closure tho
Agreed, but they do have a lot of users and any threat to the existing censorship system is a good thing. Like I said in the alt tech post i've created a few communities there.

I would like to keep a small presence there in case we are needed. Having wolfballs available during the next U.S. election in case it is needed is the primary reason I created it.
You're right. Although I'd obviously prefer distributed tech, anything that takes power away from big tech is a win.
