Well he's rich now. And their school will be poorer for it. He had really high quality lectures. They should all be on YouTube still.

He has more "students" in his audience by a factor of 100,000 than he had in any of his classrooms.
When he started his Youtube channel he would only post the recordings of his classroom lectures, and offered the University his Youtube platform to increase the University's reach. They ignored him.
Now he is drawing 1000 times the students as the ENTIRE university (U of T has 64,000 students, most of Jordan's lectures & interviews are viewed ~50 million times including clips and repostings)
Really, whose loss was it ?
