For all the Flak that GETTR gets, which is richly deserved, I think they did one thing rather well -> content mirroring.
-
GETTR mirrored Tweets from famous celebrities, to catch up to Twitter content. GAB did the same with Trump's twitter. Old tech like Fbook, Reddit have collected content over decades. Hard for new alt tech sites to compete over content.
-
End user only cares about content. They don't care about free speech. Normies are turned off by alt tech, because they feel the sites are too Echo Chamberish or don't have interesting content like movies, sports etc.
-
I think this strategy would work for Reddit Alternatives too. Mirror ALL of reddit including accounts, which can be claimed later.
-
I was thinking of doing the same for a Wikipedia alt, where the content would be linked to wikipedia.com, to save costs, but would get filtered by unbiased editors before reaching readers. Low cost, efficient solution.
What do you guys think ?

I don't think this is complicated it's just marketing, I think we've been passively waiting for the next banwave on reddit to send a subreddit or a few over
marketing can be done in a lot of ways, from traditional billboard ads to content marketing posting on other social media to word of mouth to other things

Yup, that's how I came to Wolfballs. I was just f***ing done with the lies and the bans regarding the Vax propaganda
