Potentially, but they don’t use water straight from the ground/river these days it’s all purified and minerals readded anyway. That said Molson-Coors isn’t good for UK brewing.

Molson-Coors not good for UK brewing, but the water in Burton-On-Trent is up there with the best (take your point on water being purified though).

I do wonder whether ‘protected designation of origin’ could apply to beer too. But alas, the brand is just commercial IP at the end of the day. Chewed up by the capitalist machine…
