      Yeah, that’s a good point. I assumed Russia because they have the pre-existing spy / subversives network and we have been being warned for months they have plans, but the Iranians also have good cause to want to attack a joint UK/US airbase

      Mmm, I’d agree that there’s a larger cultural issue with Russia, but Putain turning up his toes will make a difference, because then they have an excuse to quit a war that isn’t going well for them. Sure, give it a couple of years and who ever replaces the vampire will pull something similar, but in the mean time we get a respite and an opportunity for Europe to swivel away from US dependency and towards self sufficiency.
