  The BBC is so compromised and corrupt that it has willingly ruined its reputation over things like this. Not to mention their misreporting of the genocide in Palestine. Their coverage is even more biased than Israel’s own reporting on what is happening in Palestine.

  Whatever the agenda is, they seem happy to burn the BBC in service of that agenda.

      No. Not the same coverage given to the other MINOR parties. Reform has 8 seats at Westminster, same as the SNP. The BBC gave less coverage to SNP in Scotland let alone England (wasnt even covered). They get more coverage than the LibDems every day of the week despite have literally one ninth the seats (71).

      There are plenty of studies, both peer reviewed and more casual showing reform gets disproportional coverage and has done for years

  The BBC is now controlled by right-wingers. No wonder their quality went down: that was the plan all along.

  Luckily BBC news is increasingly irrelevant in the social media age. Although the alternatives aren’t always better.

    Mainstream is getting worse because of social media -as dollars shifted from traditional media to Google and Meta- and on a whole social media is worse.
