  But and also, “is it ai” would just be used to train ai to be more convincing.

  Ironically the most believable “it’s actually thinking” output was those google deepmind images with the spirals of eyes because that at least felt like some alien intelligence was making them.

    Yeah they made computers better at talking like a human (lies and all) but that’s so very boring and not very useful when you want to be sure you got things right.

  It’s a pretty easy game. Especially when it comes to creative writing. I can’t even beg an LLM to generate believable text anymore…they just keep generating shit with obvious LLM telltales like “not x, not y, but z”. Perhaps it’s the prevalence of coding training sets that has slanted them so strongly in the direction of uncanniness.
