A single user has created 35 different porn communities in the last month. There are then seemingly endless alt accounts that post some random screenshot from a porn site with what looks like ai generated titles. Is there anything that can be done about this?
It is incredibly obnoxious behavior. I don’t know what to report, so I just block them. Each day there are a few more communities.
Whatever gets reported also gets removed or atleast looked at. If its spam, we remove it.

Have you been reporting the communities and posts with some detail in the report? I haven’t seen any come across but would suggest that would be the first step in trying to stop inauthentic bot activity.

reports will go to community mods as well, and the mod can resolve the reports.
it’s recommended to message @lwreport@lemmy.world with details for anything that requires admin attention to ensure it gets through to the team.
Is this specific issue at least something that admins are aware of?

I didn’t know there was a rule against having multiple communities? About the spam: Well, it’s definitely not me and moderators can check that if they want. I’ll be taking more care of the posts. I appreciate the reporting.
