Yesterday afternoon was very stormy due to southerly winds. But the weather forecast said the storm would let up and the sky would clear during the night.

Typically here, this mean the wind dies down completely and the lake turns into a mirror. This was the perfect occasion to capture a cool timelapse video of the lake.

So I pointed the camera due north and recorded one image every 5 seconds overnight. This is the result. The speedup is 300x - i.e. 5 minutes per second.
