Why is the #CockroachJantaParty not on the Fediverse? After the fascists (#Twitter and #Modi) colluded to kill their online presence?
In fact, where is #India on the Fediverse? They have the highest Linux adoption rate, but somehow haven't found their way to free social media?

I’m unaware if there are many Indian instances or communities to begin with. Kind of hard to get people to start going to a place where nobody speaks the same language as them.
That is to some extent true, probably. Although many people in India speak English. If not as a first language, then as a second language.
I’m not saying fediverse users can’t speak Hindi, but that they don’t regularly.

Maybe it would help if there was a clear rallying point?
For #Colombia https://col.social managed seems to have worked quite well for that.
But I guess it doesn't have to be a server. It could also be a hashtag?

If necessary followed through a relay, like #FediBuz to bring together different servers?

@bacteriostat @nostupidquestions @admin If the #CockroachJantaParty would tell it's millions of Instagram followers to move to some still-to-be-set-up setup server like @cockroach.org if necessary with a VPN to circumvent government censorship, that would be a great way to bring India into the Fediverse...
