This article gives insight into the seemingly contradictory attitudes about immigration among Latinos living in the US. It also highlights the inconsistent postions of the Democratic Party over the years.
They side with the right because they think that will gain them acceptance. It’s just more subtle form of fucking around and finding out. I have no sympathy for any of right wing voters who face the wrath of this administration. Given the times, it’s not unreasonable to reserve it for those who are true victims having never empowered right wing agendas.
