    I thought they were already banned? If you scan one at a self checkout the machine complains and you need to wait for your age to be approved.

      I think a lot of the supermarkets have voluntarily IDed energy drinks for quite a while now, so I guess this just means any corner shops or petrol stations that haven’t been doing it will need to start

    Back in the day, big companies in the USA started selling ‘wine coolers,’ basically fruit punch with the same alcohol level as a similar sized beer.

    The good thing was that a lot of grocery store employees didn’t know/didn’t care what was in the bottle. For a long time, underage drinkers could buy all the booze they wanted, because it was in a bottle that said raspberry/mango and not BEER.

    Caffeine does affect early brain development and some of these drinks contain like an entire little of coffee in 180 gm
