Damn. So should we stop using dishwashers altogether? Or can we just skip the rinse aid?
After checking my chemicals I found that both my dishwasher pods and thr rinse aid have alcohol ethoxylate.
I’ll have to find a new brand maybe.

Household dishwashers do a much better job of diluting detergent during final rinse and bring the detergent levels down to a point where they didn’t have the observed effects. So skip rinse aid, don’t eat at restaurants, and use a water-inefficient dishwasher seems to be the take-aways.
