    Can’t read the article behind the paywall, but let me guess: they are trying to solve a public health problem without a public health system and are failing miserably.

      Usually when I saw this on reddit, it was about people doing drugs on the street, and not following up on the treatment options when arrested. And a bunch of comments that seem to think throwing those people in prison, like before was a better option. I guess, because out of sight out of mind. If all that was accomplished is less people having their lives ruined further by incarceration for personal use, I call that a win. Now if we could just get health care for everyone including mental, maybe we’d see better success.
