- Comment on Suicide Squad Cost Warner Bros. $200 Million In Revenue 1 month ago:
So basically the single player offline game made bank, but they keep pushing this live service crap thinking it’s going to be the next GTA online and not what 90% of the live service crap ends up being.
- Comment on $70 titles are doomed to go “the way of the dodo” says Saber Interactive CEO 2 months ago:
I have ads blocked everywhere, so I don’t know if BG3 had traditional advertising. I do know they focused a lot on the voice actors with YouTube stuff like them playing table top D&D.
- Comment on $70 titles are doomed to go “the way of the dodo” says Saber Interactive CEO 2 months ago:
The article doesn’t really say pricing will go up. Just that the current AAA $70 isn’t sustainable. Even says he doesn’t want to sell their next game at $70, but is afraid of it being perceived as a lower quality game if cheaper. I think hellblade 2 will be a good test if a cheaper game price is seen as a negative. Personally, I loved 1, with their AA idea. Which is just AAA quality, in a shorter length. After the first hellblade, I was really hoping we’d see more high quality games releasing at different price ranges. Seems only indies, really move away from $70 though. I just beat immortals of avalon on ps+, and I think that would have been a perfect example of a game that should have released at $40. It wasn’t worth $70, but was a pretty fun experience for the right price.

I don’t play, and have never tried this. But from the instructions I’m seeing online, is either microwave method or heat up the oven and then turn it off before putting the glove in.
That’s also looks like it’s melting, is it actual leather?
- Comment on New Quest apps will be unable to support Oculus Quest 1 headsets from May 2 months ago:
I have a rift s and was already fed up with Facebook so wasn’t buying a quest anyway. This just confirms that Facebook sucks and will not be the headset I get next. Hopefully the psvr2 pc support is actually coming and works well.

His actions were still illegal. Just because they chose to prosecute as civil, doesn’t mean he didn’t commit crimes.

He has a half billion dollar judgment against him for crimes he’s been convicted of.

I recently put endeavor on my laptop. Taking a bit to unlearn apt but it’s been running flawless with Nvidia so far. PopOS also supposedly just works with Nvidia as well.

I agree that the headset needs to work on pc. That’s what has kept me from buying one and sticking with the rift s currently. But the ps5 game wise is so much better than the Xbox. There’s no reason to buy an Xbox if you have a pc. Sony has quite a few excellent exclusives. They’re starting to come to pc as well which is nice, but they’re still on console first and not everything makes the jump to pc.
- Comment on How Much Power Does Everything Use? 3 months ago:
Good video. I recently got the emporia energy monitoring system. It’s more of a whole house/individual circuit monitor. I have electric forced air heat and water heater and those use tons of power. Water heater is about 4500watts and 11k for the furnace. Had an over $400 electric bill recently and trying to cut my usage down.
- Comment on Ubisoft Corrects Star Wars Outlaws Releasing In Late 2024 Back To General 2024 5 months ago:
After trying Avatar, not having much hope for this. I don’t play many ubisoft games. Last assassin creed was black flag, far cry was primal and I played immortals. Avatar is pretty, but boring as fucking hell. Was hoping for something like Horizon, but other than the movement, which I like better in avatar horizon is just better in every way. Story, gameplay, fun factor.

Haven’t watched the video linked, but did start the show with those two. The curse. Fucking weird. Every person in that show just makes you feel weirdly uncomfortable.
- Comment on Final Fantasy XVI Is Getting Two DLCs And One Of Them Is Available Now 6 months ago:
I beat the game. It killed any desire to finish the rest of the side quests/hunts. And I’m mad that everything that you get from the hunts requires a sword that got surpassed ages ago in the game, with no way to get it back or any hint that you might want to hold on to outdated gear that was worse than what you had.
Basically, in order to craft the best gear, you have to do hunts for material. But you also need that sword. No hint not to sell it. And no way to buy it back. So no reason to do the rest of the game as you can no longer craft the reward for doing so.
- Comment on Final Fantasy XVI Is Getting Two DLCs And One Of Them Is Available Now 6 months ago:
Have they made a patch to let you require the worthless sword if you sold it before realizing it’s needed to craft a better one? Because I lost all desire to play at that point.
- Comment on Oregon decriminalized hard drugs – it isn't working 7 months ago:
Usually when I saw this on reddit, it was about people doing drugs on the street, and not following up on the treatment options when arrested. And a bunch of comments that seem to think throwing those people in prison, like before was a better option. I guess, because out of sight out of mind. If all that was accomplished is less people having their lives ruined further by incarceration for personal use, I call that a win. Now if we could just get health care for everyone including mental, maybe we’d see better success.
- Comment on Why Japan Has Blue Traffic Lights Instead of Green 8 months ago:
Not being able to see green. What does the green light look like? Can you still tell it’s lit up, just not the color, or do you have to go, well red and yellow is out, so green must be on?
- Comment on Nintendo switch 2 akin to PS4/XBO power 9 months ago:
Granted, Nintendo does know how to make their sub par hardware seem better than it is. But can you imagine what they could do with actual up to date hardware? Might not be as easy a sell at $400-500 though like PS/Xbox. So if they can keep sub $300 system it’s an easier sell as a secondary system to the others or pc.

Mid tier. I only have extra and got it.
- Comment on The plastic lawn backlash: why people are pulling up their fetid fake grass 10 months ago:
I wouldn’t want my entire yard of the shit, but I did buy a section to put on my deck for my dog that was no longer able to walk up and down the stairs. I put some clamps on the hand rail so I could hang it and hose it off afterwards because it did stink bad if I didn’t.
- Comment on ‘Barbie’ vs ‘Oppenheimer’: Which Movie Got Better Reviews 11 months ago:
I saw avatar 2 in theater. And while I’m sure I’ve been at least once since avatar 1 came out, it’s the last thing I remember seeing in theater before 2. I loved same day digital releases. In fact, I kept HBO Max subscribed until they stopped doing them. 99% of the time, home is just a better experience. And I just have a basic 5.1 set up.
