    Bernie is right but he doesn’t go far enough. If ai is going to consume the majority of our most valuable shared resources and destroy x millions of jobs the people should own 100% of the profits and control 100% of it’s access and implementation of the data it uses and creates.

      TLDR:
      Any improvements in LLM output in the last 3 years have come from brute force recursion, not from fundamental improvements. This means a couple things; the technology itself has plateaued, and they’re not going to be able to continue spending at this rate to pretend it hasn’t.
