Ordered a tiny credit card sized part on Amazon, it came in an enormous box that you could fit a car wheel in…and the box printing said “Now made with less material”. So maybe it equalled out.

So, a lot of packing peanuts are made of cornstarch now - you can melt them with water.
If you ever get a box that claims eco friendly, but is full of packing peanuts, try putting a few in water and squishing them before getting angry!
If they don’t fall apart, get even angier.

Yeah as I said these are the plastic ones, not dissolvable. Those starch ones are fairly neat.
