It stops their defence claiming a mistrial due to the jury being prejudiced by external influences. It’s totally normal in cases like these.

Yeah… last time a judge banned reporting on something like this - southport riots.

The Southport riots was a far right campaign to stir up hatred. You do realise that the riots happened before any trial of the person who did it, and it was known that he wasn’t an immigrant anyway?
I find your lack of knowledge and misinformation about this quite suspicious.

What’s worse is a lot of cops will refuse to do anything about these gangs as well, so there are more of them out there operating. It reminds me of that 14 year old girl (I think she was 14? Might have been younger) who was raped and reported it to the police and they did nothing, then a stranger raped her again and took her back to an apartment where she was gang raped…
