The only way of verifying your age is to reveal your full identity. Probably with a digital ID. So age verification is nothing but a transparent Trojan horse.
Transparent because anyone who want can see right through it.

If anyone in congress proposes a bill and says that it is "for the children", it does not matter what political party that congressman belongs to, the one thing that you can be absolutely certain of that the bill is not for the children.
I think an exception can be made for when Democrats push for free lunches in public schools, that's actually for the children. Otherwise, I agree.
