Living in a third world country often means having no warranty. Because companies don’t have a presence in the country and you have to pay for shipping and tariffs out of pocket so between the cost and the chance of it getting stolen on customs it’s cheaper to just buy a new one
When the profit margin on the warranty is much larger than on the product itself

It’s crazy when I buy a $3 product on some site and the site offers me a 3-year warranty for $20. No thanks, bro. I’ll take my chances that I won’t have to replace the item seven times within the next three years.
