Good shave. Nice little treat with this scent today.
Really enjoying this Inox Dovo and its smooth edge. I’ll be taking it on my trip to Belgium as a travel razor later today.

Yup, it’s been too long since my last trip there, and I’m looking forward (mostly to the food and beers) 😊

| I’m confused: yesterday, I took a sharpie, an Aroma 600, a Proyan 1k and a cherry tomato and sharpened the razor again. I checked the stone, and raised a slurry.The sharpie went away almost instantly, the stone was completely flat, but for the love of god, I couldn’t get the razor to cut the tomato. I tried and tried, but nothing. After 45 minutes, I was annoyed and simply passed on the Shapton 12k. Fuck honing! Today I stropped with green paste, and then on to clean leather. My expectations were lownto non existent, and I tried to shave more to see what it would be like. |
Turns out that this razor is plenty sharp, slicing into my ear without any effort 🩸🩸. The shave was very comfortable, with a nice face feel, though I cut myself twice.

I’m not clear whether you moved to the 12k after 45 minutes or skipped it
I used it for 20-30 passes

Had to take it easy as a consequence of yesterday’s less than optimal shave. Was also in a bit of a hurry, as I opted to hit the snooze button this morning 😀.
2 passes and good enough for work. Cologne Russe is so good. It has really grown on me over the past few years.
