As a middle aged aussie who grew up well under the poverty line it really affects how you interact with the economy and country. I was talking with some friends about going to the movies and I just don’t do it, ever. I’m still under the poverty line, I don’t feel like it because I’m old poor. I eat lentils, I drive and old car and I have It is what it is. for health insurance.
