  Democrats could have leaked this last week to put more pressure on the budget resolution.

  Instead they release it this week to distract from the fact that they caved on the budget resolution.

  I’ve never seen the need to declare the contents of the email my property nor have I felt a need to claim that it’s under the purview of attorney client privilege.

    Most of that is standard corporate email signature stuff these days. I think it’s meant to help if you decide to sue someone for leaking private emails. Might keep people from being able to use the “I didn’t know it was confidential” defense.
