An evil nursery school teacher sexually assaulted her partner’s four-year-old daughter before drowning her in a bath. The monstrous Amber Lee Hughes committed the horrific rape and murder of her partner’s daughter, Nada-Jane Chalita, on January 23, 2023. The court was told that Nada-Jane’s father, Elie, had left his daughter in Hughes’ care while he attended a job interview.
Upon Elie’s departure, Hughes became enraged that he hadn’t kissed her goodbye and suspected him of being unfaithful. In a terrifying message sent prior to the savage assault and murder, Hughes stated: “You broke my heart; I’m going to burn yours. How could you do that to me?”.
Hughes then placed Nada-Jane in the bathtub and sat on her until she drowned. A post-mortem examination revealed that Nada-Jane had been sexually assaulted twice before her death.
Johannesburg High Court in South Africa heard Hughes confess: “I admit that I suffered from borderline personality disorder at the time of the incident but was aware of what I was doing on that day. The event was triggered by the argument I had with the deceased’s father concerning his infidelity, and the final trigger was when he told me that I should stop bombarding him.”, reports the Mirror.

This is obviously very disgusting and disturbing, but do we really need these sort of messed up stories right before Halloween?

I changed the headline to “(Hardcore/Headline Edited) Teacher SA’s & murders partner’s daughter, 4”
Do you think that is an improvement?
I will try to do this more going forward.

I’m not really upset either way, before or after the headline edit.
I don’t have any children either, but stories like this make me wonder what parents out there might be worrying about right at Halloween…
I get that it’s the creepy season and all, but people out there have been a bit crazier and more suspicious even of their own neighbors, especially in recent times.
I take these sort of stories/reports for what they are, sad and messed up, but generally rare situations. Some folks out there might see too many of these sort of reports just before sending their kids out for Haloween and get paranoid though…
🤷

Yeah, I admit the crime section has some hardcore headlines here and there. I’ve actually censored a headline before.
Your comment makes me think that I should consider doing it more. Perhaps I will edit this very headline to try to help with this situation.
