Looks like they are a good percentage of government workers so the Trump layoffs are hitting them disproportionately.

I disagree with the article that lowering interest rates is going to help them much. Higher interest rates tamp down inflation.
I also had to laugh at this quote:
“Conditions started to deteriorate in 2024 after pandemic-era subsidies expired.”
Yes, I’m sure it was the subsidies, and had nothing to do with the Trump regime coming into power. 🙄
