I disagree with the article that lowering interest rates is going to help them much. Higher interest rates tamp down inflation.
I also had to laugh at this quote:

Trump was sworn in in January of '25. That really was under the Biden admin, not that there was much they could do with Congress locked up with crazies and the US government Hindenburging around it.
