This is a debate that’s been ongoing for decades. Investigations into supermarket pricing cartels and monopolies all coming to the same conclusion that they are completely innocent, nothing-to-see-here.
So far the introduction of foreign stores such as Aldi and Lidl has had a better effect on the problem of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda (Morrisons will probably be taken over before long).
