  As someone else pointed out, lemm.ee has disabled image upload. It works fine from other instances, I do it all the time.

  Alternatively, you can use catbox.moe or other image hosting services.

  There is more activity than at first sight. It might take some time for you to discover the communities you like the most.

  For images, you may be running into size constraints specifically. I recall reading somewhere this instance really restricts image size, so if you have any substantial image at all, you may be better off uploading onto an external host and linking.
