Denmark wants to push through chat control in three weeks. The Council Presidency will not change the law; instead, states are expected to change their minds. Germany's position is decisive. Interior Minister Dobrindt will decide on this. We are publishing the classified transcript of the negotiations.

  It’s exactly what it sounds like, a ban on end-to-end encryption for the purpose of controlling your ability to chat with people.

It’s so frustrating bc if france’s position on this went through a vote in the Assemblee nationale it wouldn’t be close to going through, but since the president likes it france’s position is support >:(
