After talking with the other moderators and watching the video in his entirety, we debated if we should remove this post. Most of us agreed that this fall under Rule 3 as you can be interpreted as trying to surf on the Unity-hate wave. Thus, excessive self-promotion.
Most of your video is about your developing your game, with a part about the unity controversy at the end (from 4:06 to 5:48). We’d like you to reflect that in your title. As it is the first time, and your video itself being interesting, I won’t remove this post, if you change the title to something better reflecting the video content.

as of the last walk back if you stay on the current LTS you should be okay! just do NOT upgrade the editor ever again.

That’s a stay of execution at best. At some point, you’ll need to upgrade to a new Unity. It might be because IOS and Android require using an SDK that’s not more than 2 years out of date, or because nVidia/AMD invented some new amazing tech, or a host of other reasons. But eventually, you’ll need to upgrade.
The worst part is that Android is actually removing apps that haven’t updated in years, even if they still work perfectly. So you’ll get screwed by that eventually if you do mobile at all.
