      Didn’t become the richest in the world by sitting on their laurels and letting other people make money instead of them. That would be outrageous

    It’s a very simple legal case. Either the contract forbids this by explicitly requiring 30 days subscription model or not. We just have no idea which party is right as we don’t have access to the contract.

    I guess they will just use the publicity to settle the case and both came out as the winners.

    They had a licensing agreement. Sling broke that agreement to make money off of Disney content. Disney wants to make them pay for that.

    I think if you took the Disney name out of the story and looked at it objectively it would be hard to disagree with their choice
