I’m glad she’s sticking by her beliefs despite all the browbeating from losers on the internet.
I never liked Harry Potter, and I doubt I’d like Rowling as a person, but it’s nice to see people who are strong and secure about what they believe in.
Truth isn’t a popularity contest.
She is a true feminist. I like the potter series. I’m not a nut about it but I like it. One thing I love about her is she puts her money were her mouth is. She donated a lot of charity and I love that about her.
So cringe that you can not have an opinion that isn’t anything else than pro Trans. I think people who want to “change” their gender have mental issues and please boycott your favorite childrens book. J.K. won’t care.
My issue is the intolerance of any opinion that isn’t their opinion. I find it weird that you have trans women attacking a woman for supporting the rights of biological women.
You can’t get much more misogynistic and weird than that.
I agree with you. If you don’t have the same opinion you’re a nazi. There is no room for nuance on lemmy for this topic. Blocked so many communities and users already, but the topic keeps coming back. I’m here for the memes with a little NSFW sprinkled in between.
