I finished the Dark Brotherhood quest today in Oblivion and finally went back to the Main Story. I’m not a big magic guy so i figured i’d save the Mage’s guild for the post game. I went ahead into the Shrine for the Main story to get the Amulet. In the room above i got to pull of some sick stealth archer maneuvers too and took down everyone before they attacked me. I even stunned the main guy there for a few seconds.
After the Mythic Dawn, i raided the Bruma oblivion gate. I thought i could just charge it alone without all the NPCs. Turns out i was wrong though and i cleared the whole tower by myself for nothing. Luckily on my way back i guess the NPCs started to follow me in somewhere along the way so i didn’t have to escort them the whole way back. The raid was pretty easy. I cleared it fast, and i even had time to stop and snap a picture of this Daedra who died in an over dramatic way.
I was wanting to get some screenshots of the Dark Brotherhood quest as i finished it, but Bazzite at some point decided it was done with screenshots in Game mode. Now whenever i take a screenshot in game it crashes my whole PC which is fun. I’ll have to figure out how to debug that eventually. The screenshot included up there i have like 20 copies off because that’s how i spawned in. I’d load it up, take a screenshot, and crash. I ended up going to desktop mode to play, and interestingly my clips also work there. So i guess Game Mode is just borked.
I closed out the game shortly after though because i had a game night planned with some friends. I let my character spend the last few seconds chilling in a barrel watching the view before saving and closing out of the game. I was also hoping to figure out the screenshots too, but i’m still struggling.
