The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus promises never-before-seen connectivity, but there’s a catch.
Requires perfect conditions and clear line-of-sight. Seems like a click-bait marketing article.

Bluetooth barely works when my phone is in my pocket and my headset on my head. Make that work first before imagining users with a 10km long neck.
you would only need a car battery in your back
With a 10m antenna. You don’t want to be anywhere near the end of it either.
Does it count as Bluetooth if it extends that far? I haven’t looked into the SoC, but that seems misleading at the very least.
The Bluetooth standard uses maximum power as a requirement for classification not range. So if they manage to not exceed the power limit of class 1 it would be valid.

Why the fuck would I want that? That sounds like a huge security liability.

Trackers like the Apple Tag would definitely work better with this.
