  Messed up because I didn’t catch leather says west indies bay and not just bay for notes. But them’s the breaks, I’ll go out the same way I played the game.   Today’s theme soap Fitjar Islands’ Slåtterøy has the following scent notes: Citrus, Chamomile, Cedar, Coriander, Bay. Unfortunately, I don’t have any Fitjar Islands soaps in my den, so it came down to finding enough scent note matches.

  I finally settled on the Dior Fahrenheit for Men dupe Stirling’s Alighieri with 3 of 5 scent note matches: leather, cedar, sandalwood, vetiver, musk, amber, nutmeg, tonka bean, citrus, lavender, chamomile, and florals.

  30! I don’t remember if I’ve made it to 30 uses on a blade before, but if I have, it was a Personna 74. GEM blades last some people a long time, but I’ve always tossed them before then (I think).

  I’m back from a near DQ experience for the second time, and with a rare match to boot. Again, it’s preparation for Lather Games 2021 saving my butt, because I bought this sample for it.

  Bay rums aren’t really my thing. I associate their smell with something sickly sweet, like a summer garden where some of the ripe fruit have fallen to the ground and insects swarm the rips where sweet warm fruit mush oozes out. Otherwise a fine shave with the big Frio14, and Sundrunk fixed the scentscape for me by adding the freshest of fresh fruit.

      Mostly just London and Paris, with one night (Thursday) in Amsterdam.

      I suspect that would be a long trip for you just to have a drink with some rando. ;)

      Basically just London and Paris, with a first night in Amsterdam. She’s already in the Netherlands for a work conference, so I’m meeting her there as our jumping off point.
