With transparency measures being dismantled by the hour, and “mission aligned” talking-point-driven outlets repeating government statements without question, how will you know if this turns out to be an erroneous conclusion ?

Yet starting in 2017 during the the Trump administration, the pentagon couldn’t account for its 1.9 Trillion dollar budget. Couldn’t complete an audit that year, nor pass an audit in any of the years Trump was president nor any of the years since with a republican controlled congress.
