Looking for both the process and any software I may need. My day job involves teaching image-pattern recognition algorithms on industrial robots so I’m not afraid of any learning curve, I simply don’t know where to get started.
Thanks!

Erm. You are not planning to impersonate a celebrity to make them say hateful things they would not say, right?
I think Tortoise is the best open source model, and ElevenLabs is the best closed source one. But you should always be careful and responsible if you are speaking with someone else’s voice.
Nah just gamer president clips to play over discord with my buddies, likely won’t even post them anywhere.
As long as you don’t recreate the PUBG bridge incident
Don’t impersonate celebrities says “Margot Robbie”.
Identity theft is not a joke, “Forsheze”! Millions of people suffer every year!
if you are speaking with someone else’s voice
Yeah we in the future.
Hey a job instead.
This project makes it scarily easy to fake someone else’s voice. There’s anotber tool derived from it that can alter your voice in real time.
I haven’t looked into training a specific voice myself, but there are voice models out there for a wide range of well-known people.

ElevenLabs is a great service for this. You can mess around with some famous cloned voices on the r/ChatGPT Discord server in the #labs-ai channel. A lot of people that could point you in the right direction there too.
Definitely give the Terms of Use a read before publishing or monetizing any recordings though
