  Wow…talk about an ignorant defence the state took. “Montana tried to argue that adjusting its energy policy and other statutes would have “no meaningful impact or appreciable effect,””.

  That is a whataboutism and it should have consequences beyond just loosing a case as this is the sort of behaviour no government official should be behaving as. They need to be held to a high standard than the equivalent of shitposting on social media.
