Biggest problem with a NUC is that in order to get the computer into that tiny form factor the cooling system is really compact, so if the dust starts to build up, you can overheat the whole thing.
OTOH, there are fanless NUC cases that eliminate the danger of fans from the equation entirely.

Just buy a tiny mini micro pc at that point
