They will blame everyone else but Doc. Bucks it’s time to admit firing Griffin was a mistake. Griffin got way more out of this group than Doc ever did.

Griffin got wins off an easy schedule. The mistake was not firing Bud or firing Griffin, it was getting the Griffin hire wrong and not fixing the old core.

And you call THIS schedule tough? LOL Griffin got results. There are no easy wins in the NBA - if there were why didn’t Bucks beat star-less Philly, tanking Nets, Bulls, injured Griz? Sure a rookie HC had a misstep in implementing a defense unsuitable for an aging roster but which rookie coach isn’t going to have missteps? Expecting perfection right away despite success is the trap that leads to this kind of mess.

Not excusing Doc, but this team probably wasn’t going anywhere either way with the old core, Middleton being out, and weak bench. They should at least be in the playoff race, though.
