This is really to the point: “That’s a little bit like telling someone who’s got a large drinking habit or smoking habit, ‘you need to quit that as soon as possible.’”. We know we have the life threatening habit but can’t stop the addiction!

Politics mostly happens outside of elections. Support protests or protestors, get involved in local action groups, write to MPs, raise issues at community meetings.
Like yeah vote green but it’s a long way before they’ll hold enough power to do the necessary reforms. Attempting to shift public and MP perception is good.
