    Long overdue change. The idea that landlords could just kick people out for any reason is just absurd and cruel.

    This is both fantastic and worrying.

    Much needed changes but then landlords could just lie about moving back in, claim false breaches or those that are only in it for the money could leave tenants in the lurch.

    I’m really hoping that protections for tenants increase

    If rent-increase caps aren’t part of it, it’s all hilariously worthless.

    Want your tenant gone, just put the rent up $10,000 a week, then when they can’t pay, you have grounds to evict. Simples.
