    Samsung hasn't fixed it, because there's nothing to fix, as this is Google's intention. The gestures work but are very finnicky and the animations are laggy or don't play at all. Xiaomi decided that they don't want this so they disabled gestures with third party launchers.

    I’m using Nova with gestures on my Pixel and it works perfectly. This is pretty close to base Android.

    Gesture navigation (instead of having the navigation bar at the bottom edge of the screen). I’m too lazy to bother to ever learn to move away from the navigation bar myself, but maybe it’s great and I’m missing out on getting that extra bit of screen.

    on this phone you cant use fullscreen gestures with anything other than the regular launcher

  I have never used stock Xiaomi software for more than the time it took to unlock the bootloader. The custom ROMs for my devices were jank as fuck too. I will never buy from Xiaomi again. Only Pixel and GrapheneOS from now on.

  And that is why I haven’t done any system updates in years. Steal my identity, abuse security flaws, do whatever you want I don’t care I am not updating to lose my most used feature.

  I used to think Xiaomi phones were great, because they were the only ones I’d ever had. But then I tried out Samsung, Motorola, Vivo, and many others, and just got blown away each time I remembered I used to enjoy MIUI

      Then you can easily workaround this with an app, which I forgot its name, it is something like Full Screen Gestures or fluid gestures something like that.
