Don’t know when it is going to be released. The last version of Lemmy stated the following in the patch notes:

I would like this very much thank you, I did not often use it but when I did it was most appreciated
yeah I don’t use it often either. That’s why I didn’t realize it wasn’t there until after I browsed some political subs
If you want to look at trolls, sort by top and scroll all the way down.

I always felt that just breeds toxicity and trolls.
Yes, it’s true I don’t need to sort by it, but it invites bad behavior.

Agreed. For every earnest but intensely debated opinion expressed there will be thirty people trying to toe the line so as to pull in replies. The honest and willing debater is going to post anyway, but trolls are incentivized by, uh, incentives.
If you build it, they will come, etc.
