I’ve recently watched ‘The Terror’ and am fascinated by the subject. I enjoy the scenery, the bleakness and harshness of the environment and the explorative subject matter.
I could do without supernatural elements, though.

Not the NW passage, but Shackleton definitely scratches that itch.
There’s both fictionalized and documentary styled versions of the story.

TV Mini series: m.imdb.com/title/tt0272839/
Oh great, I’ve seen documentaries about Shackleton but this Mini series is exactly the stuff I am talking about. Thanks!
The Terror? Amazon, it’s pretty amazing
The Terror… both book and TV show are great
There is a great song from Unleash the Archers
Ahh, foooor just One time I would take The northwest passage …

The North Water is a great show with Colin Farrell and Jack O’Connell about a whaling expedition to the artic.

Oh, very interesting, thank you. That fits perfectly! I’ve gotta say, Colin Farrell is really growing on me. I used to think he was good in Belgium, but that’s it - but no. I’ve really loved The Banshees of Inisherin and am looking forward to The Killing Of A Sacred Deer.
Sorry for the tangent
