I don’t know (or care) shite about navy seals or whatever. That said, this is a good general principle.
It reminds me a local saying, about lazy people working twice more - because fixing mistakes takes more time than doing things properly.
However caution should be used towards using this principle as a thought-terminating saying. Sometimes you need to rush things - because fixing potential mistakes in that case wouldn’t be a big deal, but losing a certain window of opportunity would.
