LoRa & LoRaWAN are next-generation technologies that will support wireless connectivity in IoT, alongside 5G RF Technologies. Uniquely enabling long-range, low-power communication, they are already being used in numerous consumer and industrial applications to solve real-world problems.

It’s dead simple to buy and start running your own node. You can get a Heltec v3 for $25 or less on Amazon and after a quick flash, you’re in business.

Some people may prefer to assemble their node from parts rather then buying a completed appliance.

      Why are you against that?

I’m not. Those people are welcome to do that still. OP posted a dead/malformed link, and I didn’t want to dissuade potentially interested readers from trying out the tech.

Plus off the shelf is cheaper.

A common thing I see is people running these part-15 (in the US) devices with upgraded antenna systems, which isn’t permitted. Either run it under amateur rules or under part 15.
