So, Pelosi and presumably her ‘escort’ Paul Pelosi, Jr., met with a chip maker, the 9th largest company in the world.
Paul Jr. has a massive stake in a Chinese company that deals with ‘chipset makers’ and Pelosi says that her son Paul Jr. had “absolutely no” business dealings on her trip to Taiwan??!!
This smells really, really bad. It looks like Nancy is lying again about building her family fortune.

I've been thinking lately that we need to start holding government officials to a fiduciary duty standard.
If you had power of attorney over your adult parent, you would be expected and legally required to put the well-being of your parent over your own. The same is true for business executives.
Why is it that the people who are running a state aren't held to the same standard as adult children in charge of their parents or executives in charge of their company?

The problem is they have to pass the laws to hold themselves accountable and this boondoggle is so lucrative, few of them are prepared to.
