Opsec and limited powers, it’s right there in the article. If you want to be inflammatory the obvious response is that it was done after Russia was already using the same style of weapon in Ukraine.

Should have been in Ukraine being used six months ago, but late is better than never.
It sounds like they had a very successful strike on an airbase in Crimea. 4 S-400s, a radar system, and a command center.
