I tried booting from USB when I had a school Chromebook, don’t think it worked. They disabled the esc+refresh+power.
Thanks for this, I had never heard of this project before. Does this (theoretically) work on any Chromebook?
yes, if it has the shim leaked
go to chrome://version to get your board name
some important things:
the audio under shimboot only works on octopus board
otherwise you will need to pair a bluetooth headphone before you can hear anything
deep sleep is not supported
